Arnaud Versluys is the only Westerner to have received his full medical training in China. He earned his Bachelor degree in Medicine at Hubei College of Chinese Medicine, and specialized in herbal medicine at the Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine where he received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees, in total devoting twelve years to his education in China.

In the mean time, Arnaud has over ten years of clinical experience and has worked for years as a professor in post-graduate medical education. He lectures all over the US as well as abroad and periodically travels to Europe, Australia and China to present at conferences and seminars. His clinical work, research and publications have earned him a reputation as one of the top Chinese medicine practitioners in the US.

Arnaud is trained in general family medicine, and has extensive experience in treating any primary care issue for male, female adult patients as well as children of 6 months and older. Arnaud further specializes in complex internal medicine disorders most commonly with an auto-immune cause; as well as some severe skin diseases and woman's health issues. Kumiko Shirai, MSOM, LAc

Kumiko Shirai is a nationally certified and Oregon licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a specialty in Japanese abdominal diagnosis. After graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor in Science, she earned her Masters in Science of Oriental Medicine from National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland.

Kumiko provides acupuncture and herbal medicine services, and focuses on treating gastro-intestinal disorders and women’s disorders. She is an instructor for the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM), for which she teaches Japanese abdominal diagnosis, also known as Fukushin, in both the US and Europe. She is one of the few practitioners in Oregon specializing in this style of abdominal diagnosis of traditional Japanese medicine.
